
The Soil Fertility Research Service of the Agricultural Scientific Research Center presented the report entitled "The influence of land-use on the content of microelements in the soil based on the research conducted in Eastern Georgia" at the 22nd World Congress of Soil Scientists held in Glasgow, Great Britain. This information has been disseminated by the Agricultural-Scientific Research Center of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia.
"This year, the Congress theme, 'Soil Science – crossing boundaries, changing society' focused on the link between soil and society, with sessions covering soil systems, soil processes, soil management and how we interact with and use soils around the world.
More than 3000 soil scientists from all over the world attended the World Congress of Soil Science, which is held every 4 years in different countries. Participation in the Congress is important for presenting research activities and establishing new scientific ties.
The World Congress of Soil Science 2022 was organized by the International Union of Soil Sciences (IUSS) and the British Society of Soil Science (BSSS)," - the statement reads.
