Georgia will not participate in the world's most important economic forum in Davos in 2025, which takes place from 20-24 January in Davos, Switzerland.
The government administration told bm.ge that Georgia will not participate in either the Davos Economic Forum or the Munich Security Conference in February.
In response to a clarifying question, the administration wrote to BMG that the invitation did not come from either Davos or Munich.
This will be the first time in the last twenty years that Georgia has not been invited to the Davos Economic Forum.
Last year, a month before leaving the post of Prime Minister, Irakli Garibashvili was in Davos and participated in a discussion titled "Towards a Lead-Free Future".
More than 350 governmental leaders are expected to participate this year, including 60 heads of state and government:
