The Patriarchate calls on the parishioners to be vigilant – to wear a facemask and keep their social distance. Those wishing to go to Svetitskhoveli can use the buses free of charge departing at 8:00 a.m. from the vicinity of the Georgian Patriarchate to Mtskheta. 

Svetitskhovloba is an ancient holiday. Information about its celebration dates back to the 4th century. Svetitskhovloba holiday is celebrated twice a year, on October 14 and July 13.
