Georgia moved up two places in the world ranking and now occupies 43rd place, in the top 25% of 196 countries and territories.

“In the Black Sea region, the Caucasus and Central Asia, Georgia took first place with low-risk corruption status. Georgia is the only country in the mentioned region to have this status. Georgia is ahead of all EU membership candidate countries, eight EU, and NATO member states,” - the Government Administration of Georgia states.
