“Georgia knows it belongs to Europe and Europe should now make relevant conclusions,” - the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said at a World Economic Forum panel in Davos on Wednesday.
At the conclusion of his address to Forum participants, Gharibashvili used a quote from a Georgian historical figure from the past century, in a comment over Georgia’s European aspirations.
“I want to quote a famous Georgian scientist and co-author of the European Constitution, Mikheil Muskhelishvili. He said: “Georgia knows that it belongs to Europe, now Europe should make conclusions.” That’s my last comment,” - Gharibashvili said.
To be informed, Mikheil Muskhelishvili was the Georgian-French political scientist and lawyer who emigrated to Western Europe following the Red Army invasion of Georgia in 1921.
