"Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Kazakhstan have signed a quadrilateral declaration on the Trans-Caspian East-West Corridor. The document emphasizes the importance of steps to strengthen the transit potential of the states," - the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia reported.
"The document also highlights the significance of strengthening cooperation and integrating the Trans-Caspian East-West Corridor into the international transport system.
The declaration also notes the significant role of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway line in promoting competitive transport between Europe and Asia,"- the statement released by the Ministry reads.
