Such high interest expressed towards the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum is due to the country’s geopolitical situation among other factors - Georgia is a stable country for both Europe and Asia. The role of our country has grown in recent years as a reliable partner that ensures the connectivity of Asia and Europe, - Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Levan Davitashvili said.
As the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development notes, these are not only transport connections, but also energy, digital and trade connections in many directions; ,,the Silk Road Forum will be successful and it will contribute to raising the awareness of our country even more.”
"The forum will also be very successful from the point of view of specific projects - we expect that many agreements will be signed, which will be a prerequisite for the implementation of specific projects", - the Minister said.
Levan Davitashvili also emphasizes that it is uniquely important - Tbilisi is once again a neutral, impartial platform, a place where countries can talk about peace, cooperation and development. 
"This once again confirms the role and friendly position of Georgia in relation to neighboring countries. We are trying to promote the peace process, but also the economic relations", - Levan Davitashvili noted.
