Georgia increases export of carbonated drinks

In the first quarter of 2023, 27 thousand tons of carbonated and sugary drinks worth $19 million were exported from Georgia. This is 65% more than the same period in 2022. The leading growth factor was the increase in the export of juices and carbonated beverages from Georgia to the Russian Federation.
According to countries, exports of carbonated and sugary drinks are distributed as follows:
1. The Russian Federation - $10.2 million ($4.2 million last year);
2. Armenia - $2.7 million ($0.8 million last year);
3. Azerbaijan - $2.4 million ($2.5 million last year);
4. Kazakhstan - $1.2 million ($0.9 million last year);
5. Israel - $0.8 million ($1.3 million last year).
