"Georgia improved the risk rating by one step in the country risk classifications of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)," - the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia reported.

“An increase in the rating, which means a decrease in risk, will boost access to financing for the Georgian private sector,” - the Ministry said.

The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development is an intergovernmental organization with 38 member countries, founded in 1961 to stimulate economic progress and world trade.
