In November, Georgia imported 111 GWh of electricity worth $3.3 million, with Russia as the sole source country, according to a TBC Capital review. Of the total imported volume, nearly 30 GWh was used to meet the electricity demand of the occupied region of Abkhazia.

In November 2025, Georgia’s electricity generation increased by 20.7% year-on-year, reaching 1,129 GWh. Over the same period, electricity consumption rose by 3.6% to 1,200 GWh.

Meanwhile, the balancing electricity price declined by 0.8% year-on-year, averaging 5.53 US cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh).
