Georgia imported 619 tons of ice cream this year

According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), in January-July 2023, Georgia bought 619 tons of ice cream from other countries.
In the same period, the volume of ice cream imports amounted to $3.2 million, which is 36% more than the figure ($2.3 million) of the same period last year.
The most ice cream was imported to Georgia from the following countries:
Turkey - 1 million USD
Russia - 604 thousand USD
Ukraine - 510 thousand USD
France - 399 thousand USD
Armenia - 274 thousand USD
In the first seven months of 2022, 538 tons of ice cream was imported to Georgia.
