
The Georgian parliamentary delegation actively participated in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly’s Economics and Security Committee (ESC) meeting, which focused on addressing security and economic challenges in the Black Sea region.
Leading the delegation, Givi Mikanadze delivered remarks emphasizing Georgia’s contributions to regional peace and stability. He underscored the country’s economic progress despite the ongoing occupation of its territories and the region’s complex security dynamics. Mikanadze also outlined Georgia’s commitment to enforcing Western sanctions against Russia.
During the session, Mikanadze introduced several amendments aimed at reinforcing Georgia’s strategic importance in Black Sea security and ensuring that assessments of the region are grounded in factual analysis.
