Georgia defeated Finland in the EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers game in Espoo with a score of 90:83.

Following this victory, Georgia isn’t winless anymore in Group G. Tornike Shengelia, who played a EuroLeague game on November 20, flew directly to Finland and played a crucial match for Georgia without having a single practice with the team.

Shengelia ended up scoring 24 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, and dishing out 5 assists en route to an important victory on an away court.

Georgia will play the next game against Finland again on November 24 in Tbilisi. Two decisive tours will be held in February: Georgia will host Denmark and visit Serbia.
