
“A 7.5% growth of the gross domestic product is a very good indicator,” - the Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia Mikheil Dundua assessed the preliminary data of the National Statistical Office of Georgia, according to which, in April 2023, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the economy (GDP) of Georgia grew by 7.5% , the average rate of the first four months of the year was determined by 7.3%.
"Georgia continues high economic growth despite the difficult background in the region. Economic policy based on peace, economic development, and support of the private sector shows its results. A 7.5% growth of the gross domestic product is a very good indicator," - Dundua said.
