According to the data published on the GEOSTAT website (the National Statistics Office of Georgia), the ranking of the TOP-5 coffee importing countries is as follows:
- Indonesia - 1,578.60 tons
- Vietnam - 403.17 tons
- Russia - 226.23 tons
- Germany - 154.89 tons
- Italy - 101.80 tons
According to the statistical data, the import of coffee to Georgia has increased by 24% in the value indicators during the reporting period. The revenues received from the coffee import to the country in January-May 2022 amounted to 9.921 million dollars, and in January-May 2021 it was 7.999 million dollars. According to these data, it is more expensive for Georgia this year to buy coffee in the international markets.
