Georgia’s Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, emphasized the country’s commitment to EU integration during today’s briefing.
“Our responsibility is clear: we must be prepared for EU integration, and we are committed to being ready by 2030. However, the future also depends on fairness,” he said.
The Prime Minister expressed hope that the current behavior of European bureaucracy, which he described as shameful, will improve.
“Our obligation is to be ready for EU integration. Regarding the EU’s approach, if the disgraceful attitude we have seen from European bureaucracy continues, injustice may persist. We will fulfill our obligations under the Association Agreement and DCFTA by 2030, but the rest depends on justice,” Kobakhidze added.
