As the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia announced, the decision on the mentioned issue was made within the framework of the 43rd FAO conference. The conference was held in Rome on July 1-7, 2023.
The Council of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization consists of 49 member states of the organization, which are elected every two years within the framework of the conference of the organization.
