The Prime Minister of Armenia spoke about the importance of the new road bridge and thanked all involved parties for the implementation of the project.
"Georgia, as a transit country, is of great importance for Armenia in terms of reliable and safe supply of energy resources, communications, telecommunications. Also, I should mention, in the direction of cyber security, daily work should be carried out between relevant agencies and structures. It should be noted that it is necessary to develop border cooperation between the two countries, which was useful in preventive measures during the Covid period. It is necessary to offer joint projects and joint tourist packages in the field of culture, tourism between our countries. In the direction of decentralization between the regions of Armenia and Georgia, I would like to point out that we have a great opportunity here and we should include international projects. It is also important to develop further relations in the fields of environmental protection, employment, education, sports and youth. We should activate the implementation of joint measures and share experience with each other. Honorable Prime Minister, in order to implement all this, interdepartmental meetings and close connections are needed, so our relations should be facilitated, which will be facilitated by this bridge. I would like to thank all involved parties who made this great project possible. I am sure that our efforts will yield positive results and contribute to mutually beneficial activities. I wish everyone success for the benefit of our countries," Nikol Pashinyan said.
