
During the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili met with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.
The meeting reflected a shared sense of satisfaction regarding the deepening partnership between Georgia and the UAE, both on a bilateral level and within multilateral platforms.
Both sides emphasized the importance of ongoing high-level exchanges, particularly highlighting the recent visit of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Georgia. During that visit, the UAE demonstrated its commitment to launching major investment projects and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors.
The two ministers discussed enhancing collaboration in investment, strengthening trade and economic ties, and leveraging the strategic potential of the Middle Corridor. Special emphasis was placed on Georgia’s geographic advantages, investor-friendly climate, and supportive business environment.
They concluded the meeting by reaffirming their shared commitment to further strengthening the already productive relationship between their countries.
