Israeli Agriculture Minister Avi Dichter, Israeli Ambassador Walid Abu-Haya, and Georgian Deputy Agriculture Minister Lasha Dolidze visited the Tsilkani Annual Crops Experimental Base to tour a modern greenhouse built with Israeli support in 2023. The facility uses hydroponic technology—growing crops without soil—to boost productivity and farmer income.

Deputy Minister Dolidze highlighted the importance of sharing international experience to equip Georgian farmers with modern skills. Minister Dichter emphasized strengthening long-term cooperation and proposed creating a demonstration hub for knowledge exchange. The Agricultural Research Center Director, Levan Ujmajuridze, noted that the center actively trains farmers and students in hydroponic techniques to promote innovation and practical learning.
