
During the OSCE Ministerial Council, Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, met bilaterally with Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Peter Szijjártó.
According to Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two ministers reviewed the current agenda of Georgian-Hungarian relations, discussed recent developments, and considered ways to further deepen their dialogue.
The discussion also covered Georgia’s relations with the European Union, with Hungary’s firm support for Georgia’s key priorities warmly acknowledged.
“The meeting emphasised the importance of Hungary’s continued political and expert assistance throughout Georgia’s European integration process. Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing regular dialogue and exchanged views on pressing international issues,” the ministry’s statement noted.
