
During the UNESCO General Conference, Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili held a meeting with her Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov.
According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the discussion focused on the strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan, exploring opportunities to further strengthen their close ties. The ministers acknowledged the positive momentum generated by recent high-level visits and highlighted the progress achieved in trade and economic cooperation.
Both officials stressed the importance of establishing lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus, noting that security and stability are essential for sustainable economic growth and prosperity in the region. The dialogue also addressed collaboration on the development of the Middle Corridor.
Finally, the Foreign Ministers reaffirmed their mutual respect for each country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, underlining their commitment to deepening political dialogue and bilateral cooperation.
