Georgia and Azerbaijan Reaffirm Strategic Partnership During Kvrivishvili’s Visit to Baku

During an official visit to Baku, Georgian Economy Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to reaffirm the countries' strategic partnership and discuss expanding cooperation.
Talks focused on key infrastructure projects like the Black Sea Submarine Cable and the nearly completed Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, aiming to boost regional connectivity, trade, and investment in sectors such as energy, logistics, and technology.
Kvrivishvili thanked Azerbaijan for supporting Georgia’s sovereignty, while both sides emphasized the importance of peace, stability, and closer ties in tourism and economic development.
Ambassador Zurab Pataradze also attended the meeting.
