
Minister of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Protection Mikheil Sarjveladze met with Armenia’s Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Arsen Torosyan, to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation in the social and labor fields.
According to the Ministry of Health, the ministers reviewed opportunities to deepen collaboration, ongoing reforms in both countries, and potential areas for new joint initiatives.
Sarjveladze highlighted the strong existing partnership between Georgia and Armenia, noting that cooperation continues to grow. He emphasized that the meeting marks an important step toward more extensive and dynamic joint work.
Arsen Torosyan, in turn, underscored that the two countries share common goals in strengthening social protection systems and improving services. He expressed particular interest in Georgia’s ongoing reforms, including developments in social policy, disability services, and pension system improvements.
Both sides affirmed their readiness to enhance coordination and expand cooperation in key priority areas.
