
Chair of the Culture Committee, Giorgi Gabunia, met with Armenian Ambassador Ashot Smbatyan to discuss the enduring cultural and historical ties between Georgia and Armenia.
The meeting highlighted recent cultural events hosted in both countries and underscored the shared commitment to fostering deeper collaboration.
“Armenia and Georgia share a long-standing friendship and strong cultural ties. We emphasized the importance of these connections and the need to further deepen and strengthen them,” Gabunia stated.
Gabunia also confirmed his participation in the Days of Georgian Culture set to take place in Yerevan this June. In addition to the planned events, both sides expressed interest in expanding their cultural partnership through future joint initiatives aimed at preserving and celebrating their shared heritage.
