Willy Scharnow Foundation for Tourism, one of the oldest and most famous tourist platforms in Germany, has published an article about the tourism potential of Georgia. German tour operators traveled to Georgia as part of an introductory tour of the National Tourism Administration of Georgia and published their impressions on the platform.
"The Georgian alphabet is one of the oldest in the world and since 2014 it has been part of the UNESCO cultural heritage. Preparation of Georgian wine began 8 thousand years ago in an egg-shaped clay vessel, it is called a pitcher [qvevri] and is placed in the ground for proper storage. Georgians are proud that Georgia is the homeland of wine; Georgian cuisine suddenly turned out to be very diverse and delicious," - a tour operator Ramona Kraus writes, describing the Georgian dishes and table traditions in detail.
As the National Tourism Administration of Georgia says, the article describes an extreme type of tourism, rafting in the Borjomi Gorge and Tbilisi, with its old neighborhoods and modern architecture.
