Georgia’s trade turnover with the United Arab Emirates increased. In particular, according to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), the value of goods traded between the countries amounted to 189,112 million US dollars in 9 months this year, which is 86,246 million US dollars more than the data of the same period of the previous year. In January-September 20221, the trade turnover rate was 102,866 million US dollars.
Besides, in 9 months this year, products worth of 22,243 million US dollars were exported from Georgia to the United Arab Emirates, while in January-September 2021 – the revenue totaled 14,263 million US dollars.
As for imports, in the reporting period of 2022, products worth of 166,869 million US dollars were imported from the United Arab Emirates, compared to 88,602 million US dollars in 9 months of the previous year.
