The members of the Gender Equality Council met with the representatives of the USAID's Economic Security Program to discuss the issues of future cooperation, including the empowerment of women in the fields of technology and innovation.
According to the Chair of the Council, Nino Tsilosani, the involvement of women in technology and innovation spheres is a new priority, the commitments of which Georgia joined at the Paris Conference within the framework of the Equality Forum.
“Women's empowerment in the technology and innovation is a top priority for the USAID's Economic Security Program. We talked about some important issues that we can work on in the future, including in the direction of the regions, as well as their involvement in various activities. We, of course, welcome the desire of all organizations or donors for such cooperation with the Council,"- said Nino Tsilosani.
