According to Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili, the government's debts have been reduced.
As he mentioned at today's government meeting, the economy is completely different this year than it was 10 years ago.
"The government’s debts have been reduced. I would like to remind everyone that two years ago the government debt was more than 60% of GDP. We actively started this process and the government debt has been reduced to almost 38%. As you all know, poverty and unemployment are at historic lows. Government reserves are at an all-time high, exceeding $5.5 billion. I would also like to say that in the last 10 years, the deposits of our citizens placed in commercial banks have increased almost ten times. The economy is completely different this year than it was 10 years ago," said the Prime Minister.
According to Irakli Gharibashvili, this is the achievement of the ruling party, which brought tangible results to the country.
