Georgia’s domestic exports up 26.9pc in January-October

In January-October 2021 the exports of Georgia (excluding non-declared exports) equaled USD 3 392.5 million, 24.9% higher year-on-year. Share of the domestic exports in total export constituted 73.2% and amounted to USD 2 484.4 million, 26.9% higher to the same period of 2020.
In January-October 2021 the share of the top ten trading partners by domestic exports in the total domestic exports of Georgia amounted to 79.0%. The top partners were China (USD 493.1 million), Russia (USD 440.7 million) and Turkey (USD 246.1 million).
In January-October 2021 copper ores and concentrates reclaimed the first place in the list of top export items, equaling USD 655.6 million, or 26.4% of total exports. The exports of ferroalloys totaled USD 377.9 million and their share in the total exports amounted to 15.2%. The exports of wine of fresh grapes occupied the third place standing at USD 187.8 million and constituting 7.6 percent of the total exports.
