
Minister of Internal Affairs Geka Geladze held an introductory meeting with Petra Ponevac-Pana, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Georgia.
Minister Geladze congratulated Ambassador Ponevac-Pana on the start of her diplomatic mission and conveyed his best wishes for a successful tenure in Georgia.
During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the importance of maintaining the strong and friendly relations between Georgia and Hungary. The discussion focused on ongoing cooperation in the field of law enforcement and explored new avenues for deepening their partnership.
Minister Geladze noted the solid partnership that already exists between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries, emphasizing its significance for Georgia. The parties also discussed key priority areas within the Ministry and considered further opportunities to expand cooperation with Hungary.
