The General Director of the United Airports of Georgia Irakli Karkashadze met with the management officials of the Dutch low-cost airline Transavia within the framework of the aviation forum Routes Europe 2024.
The airline started operating in the Georgian market a few days ago and performs flights in the direction of Amsterdam-Tbilisi-Amsterdam twice a week.
It was mentioned at the meeting that “the sales of the airline in the direction of Tbilisi are quite successful and the high average load factor is maintained in the coming months”. Foreigners make up the main segment of visitors coming from Amsterdam to Tbilisi.
Transavia is a low-cost airline of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which has been operating on the market since 1966. The airline is a subsidiary of the Air France KLM group and currently has Boeing-type aircraft in its fleet.
