Gas consumption in Georgia is at a 5-year record high. According to the latest data of the National Statistics Office of Georgia, the country consumed 2,489 billion cubic meters of natural gas during the 10 months of 2023, and in the same period of 2019, the domestic supply of gas amounted to 1,881 billion cubic meters.
Domestic supply of natural gas 2019-2023 (January-October data) is as follows:
2019 - 1,881 billion cubic meters
2020 - 1,874 billion cubic meters
2021 - 1,832 billion cubic meters
2022 - 2.191 billion cubic meters
2023 - 2.489 billion cubic meters
