
Organized by the Tbilisi City Hall, a New Year's gala concert was held on Europe Square.
The event was attended by the Mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze, who addressed his compatriots from the stage and congratulated them on the New Year.
"I welcome Tbilisi, all of Georgia. I would like to greet our compatriots in different countries. I greet our Abkhazians, Ossetians. Today, from the beautiful capital of Georgia, we send our wishes to every family living in any part of the world. Let there be peace, love and more respect among people! Today, the whole world is facing a great challenge and the most precious, the most important thing is peace. I want to wish peace to our friendly Ukrainian people. Congratulations, my friends. First of all, I wish you health, which is the most important thing. I wish you prosperity, longevity, courage, peace of mind, and I am sure that 2023 will bring even more success to our country," - Kakha Kaladze said.
The Deputy Mayor Andria Basilaia attended the gala concert together with the Tbilisi Mayor.
A diverse musical program was presented on three different stages arranged on the Europe Square.
The Orchestra of Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theater, Nani Bregvadze, Ensemble Rustavi, Dato Evgenidze, Giorgi Makharashvili, Ekaterine Mdivani, Giorgi Datiashvili, New One, Nato Metonidze, Killages, Nikoloz Rachveli, Natalia Kutateladze, Kote Kipiani, Beka Gochiashvili, Giorgi Tsagareli, The Quintessence, Liza Bagrationi, Salio, Dato Gomarteli, Ana Doi, Mariam Roinishvili, Temur Tatarashvili, Eka Kakhiani, Maia Jabua, Giorgi Gigashvili, Nini Nutsubidze, Eka Mamaladze, Giorgi Mikadze, Nino Machaidze, Oto Jorjikia, Dudana Mazmanishvili and Nino Surguladze performed on three different stages.
The evening was hosted by Bakhva Bregvadze, Manika Asatiani, Nikoloz Tsulukidze, Salome Arshba, Lisa Tsiklauri and Giorgi Bakhutashvili.
