Former Defence Minister Bacho Akhalaia has been summoned to appear at the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
While the Ministry did not specify the reason for the summons, it stated that it is connected to one of the ongoing criminal investigations.
Akhalaia is expected to report to the Ministry today.
