
Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili hosted diplomats accredited in Georgia at a vintage festival held at Château Zegaani in Kakheti.
Guests explored Georgian winemaking traditions, sampled wines, took part in culinary masterclasses, and participated in the grape harvest. They also visited vineyards featuring unique local grape varieties.
Officials including Agriculture Minister Davit Songulashvili and Kakheti State Representative Giorgi Aladashvili welcomed the diplomats. Botchorishvili emphasized the event's role in showcasing Georgia’s rich cultural and winemaking heritage.
National Wine Agency Chair Levan Mekhuzla briefed attendees on the 2025 harvest and the significance of viticulture to the country.
