Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili emphasized the importance of effectively presenting Georgia’s achievements on the international stage while attending the 4th UN International Conference in Spain.
“It is important for us that Georgia’s achievements are properly presented internationally and that the country’s progress is clearly communicated,” Bochorishvili stated.
She noted that the conference offers a valuable platform to engage with representatives from various countries on key issues, including Georgia’s non-recognition policy regarding the occupied territories.
“We had a good opportunity to talk with representatives of various countries regarding Georgia's non-recognition policy in the occupied territories,” she said. “Recently, there was a UN vote on a resolution concerning internally displaced persons. In this context, continued international support from our partners is essential.”
Bochorishvili also met with the head of the World Trade Organization, highlighting 25 years of cooperation and the importance of deepening ties across multiple sectors.
“Our partners are interested in Georgia's economic achievements, the progress being made, and the country’s role in advancing regional connectivity,” she added.
