Foreign Exchange Reserves in Georgia increased. By July 1, the country had reserves of 3.922 billion dollars. In the last 1 month, the reserves increased by 67.258 million dollars. The annual growth amounted to 3.8 million dollars.
89% of the reserves - 3.449 billion dollars are foreign currency reserves, 462.2 million are special Drawing Rights for loans, the so-called SDRs. Other reserve assets amount to 10.6 million dollars.
According to the data published by the National Bank of Georgia, 2.5 billion dollars are invested in foreign securities, while 944.1 million dollars are in foreign currency and deposits.
