
Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) in Georgia for the fourth quarter of 2024 (preliminary data) totaled USD 367.5 million, marking a 24.4% increase compared to the adjusted figures from 2023, according to the National Statistics Service (GeoStat).
The United Kingdom was the leading investor, contributing USD 222.6 million (60.6% of total FDI). Malta followed with USD 67.9 million (18.5%), and the Netherlands ranked third with USD 36.3 million (9.9%).
The largest portion of FDI was directed toward the financial and insurance activities sector, which received USD 314.9 million (85.7%). The real estate activities sector came second with USD 65.8 million (17.9%), while the manufacturing sector attracted USD 23.1 million (6.3%).
