“We have never shied away from debates. They should be objective, aimed at presenting our citizens with the true reality, rather than serving as tools for feeding the Georgian Dream propaganda through any means of deception,” stated Giga Parulava, a member of the Gakharia for Georgia party.

According to him, the Gakharia for Georgia party has always been open to genuine debate.

“I will remind our citizens of the recent past. During the last local elections, our mayoral candidates in various municipalities repeatedly called on the Georgian Dream candidates to participate in debates. Unfortunately, they received no response, and these debates did not take place at the municipal level. We have never shied away from debates. They should be objective, aimed at showing our citizens the true picture, not used to propagate the Georgian Dream narrative through any means of propaganda. We have always been open to honest, meaningful debates,” Giga Parulava affirmed.

Regarding the unification of opposition parties, Parulava emphasised that they have no intention of joining forces with anyone.

“We have repeatedly stated that we do not plan to unite with anyone. Today, if someone is talking about unification, they are free to do so, especially those opposition parties that emerged from the United National Movement. They can unite and offer their voters a shared vision. We have never considered unification with other opposition parties, and we do not intend to do so now,” he concluded.
