For the first time in the history, Bakuriani will host the Snow Volleyball European Championship on March 1-3.

Athletes representing Italy, Poland, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova and Armenia will take part in the tournament. The Georgian volleyball players will also fight for the first place. The tournament will be held between men and women.

Snow Volleyball is a winter team sport played by two teams of three players on a snow field. The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) added snow volleyball as an official sport in 2015. The European Championship will be held on the territory of the Crystal Hotel.
