
Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili spoke about the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) Summit, hosted by the United Arab Emirates from January 13 to 15.
According to the FM, the summit, in which Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze participates, will focus on the development of the Middle Corridor and its prospects.
“Focusing on our region’s transit potential is significant since, within international cooperation, the development of the Middle Corridor is vital for implementing Georgia’s priorities,” she said.
Maka Botchorishvili further remarked that the conference is an excellent opportunity for meetings with leading companies, which “should have information about Georgia’s investment potential and are interested in doing business in our region.”
The Foreign Minister emphasised that cooperation with companies from the United Arab Emirates is important for Georgia, since they are successfully operating in the country today and are implementing various projects that contribute to the development of the Georgian economy.
