Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili said that those strongly opposing the Eagle Hills project view Georgia’s economic development as “unacceptable.” She claimed an intensive disinformation campaign is being used to discredit the initiative.

According to Botchorishvili, the project is an unprecedented investment that highlights Georgia’s economic progress and future potential, creates jobs, and “has no negative side.” She argued that opponents are attempting to overshadow its benefits through “countless disinformation efforts.”
