The Director of the United Airports of Georgia, Tamar Archuadze, said the flight was a result of months-long talks with the Saudi airline.

The jet landed at Tbilisi International Airport last night, with an official welcoming ceremony hosted to mark the maiden connection.

Flyadeal will carry out flights from three Saudi cities, with connections from Dammam set to be added starting July 4.
