
A month ago, Villa Mosavali company opened the first premium-class Georgian restaurant titled Mosavali in the capital of Qatar, Doha, with a $5 million investment. The restaurant is located in one of the largest shopping centers, Oasis Mall.
As the company reports, the restaurant has a fully Georgian concept - the interior is decorated with Georgian ornaments, and the service staff wears Georgian clothes. The idea of opening a Georgian restaurant in Doha was initiated by the Qatari guests, who came to Georgia and were delighted with the Georgian cuisine.
The restaurant opened with Georgian-Qatari investment is designed for 250 people; as for the staff, currently, 80 people are employed in the Qatari restaurant, most of whom are Georgians.
The company had previous experience of managing a restaurant in Doha. Villa Mosavali owns the second restaurant Al Terrace, which was opened a year ago on the tourist street and is aimed at the middle segment.
As for further plans, the company says that Villa Mosavali is working on the network expansion and is negotiating with business circles of several countries.
Villa Mosavali company was founded in Georgia in 2018. Today, the company manages a hotel complex in the village of Akhalubani near Tbilisi, which combines restaurants and wineries.
