Georgia’s Finance Minister, Lasha Khutsishvili, met with Shomik Mehndiratta, the World Bank’s Practice Manager for Transport in Europe and Central Asia, to explore investment opportunities in the country’s transport sector.

The discussion focused on key infrastructure projects, including the East-West Expressway and the growing transit potential of the Middle Corridor.

Deputy Finance Minister Ekaterine Guntsadze and World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus, Rolande Pryce, also participated in the meeting.
