In 2023, compared to the previous year, the export of ferroalloys from Georgia decreased by a record 2.5 times. According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT),, last year the country received 180,661 million US dollars from the sale of ferroalloys, which is the lowest rate in the last 7 years. For comparison, in 2022, 459,803 million USD worth products were released, in 2021 - 477,432 million USD, in 2020 - 247,329 million USD, in 2019 - 303,384 million USD, etc.
According to the same data, in 2023, the largest amount of ferroalloys was exported to the USA, which accounted for 38.2% of total exports, followed by Russia with 26% and Turkey with 21%.
