"In January-July 2024, the exports of Georgia (excluding non-declared exports) equaled USD 3 532.2 million, 1.3 per cent lower year-on-year. Share of the domestic exports in total exports constituted 44.9 per cent and amounted to USD 1 586.5 million, 7.2 per cent lower than the same period of 2023," - the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GeoStat) said.

The share of the top ten trading partners by domestic exports in the total domestic exports of Georgia amounted to 73.5 per cent. The top partners were Russia (USD 325.8 million), Türkiye (USD 258.9 million) and China (USD 156.9 million).

In January-July 2024, ferro-alloys reclaimed first place in the list of top export items, equaling USD 201.1 million, or 12.7 per cent of total exports. The exports of wine of fresh grapes totaled USD 173.7 million and their share in the total exports amounted to 10.9 percent. The exports of precious metal ores and concentrates, occupied the third place, standing at USD 117.2 million and constituting 7.4 per cent of the total exports.
