Exports from Georgia to Kyrgyzstan have increased by 993.8% or 10.9 times.
In particular, according to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), in January-February 2023, goods worth 44,918,000 US dollars were exported from Georgia to Kyrgyzstan, while in January-February 2022, this figure was 4,106,700 US dollars.
The list of the top 10 products exported to Kyrgyzstan this year is as follows:
Light vehicles - 43 170 390 USD;
Packaged medicinal products - 428,120 USD;
Trucks - 338,050 USD;
Bulldozers, motor graders, excavators, rammers and others - 276,000 USD;
Tools and equipment for use in medicine or veterinary medicine - 214,360 USD;
Crustaceans - 171,320 USD;
Oil and oil products - 88,610 USD;
Waters, including mineral and damaged waters, containing sugar additives - 60,930 USD;
Cotton, gauze, bandages and similar products - 34,880 USD;
Charcoal - 26,880 USD.
Annually, exports have increased by 16.2 times or 1,524%. In particular, if in the first two months of 2023, the export of light vehicles amounted to 43,170,390 USD, in the same period last year, this figure was 2,656,950 USD. It should be noted that such an increase in quantity is not observed. In January-February of last year, 423 units of light vehicles were exported from Georgia to Kyrgyzstan, and in January-February of 2023 - 1,338 units.
