
The export of nuts decreased by 14% compared to the previous year. Particularly, in January-October 2021, nuts and other walnuts worth of $ 90 million were sold from Georgia, while in the same period of the current year – worth of $ 75.3 million. Although the export price has been drastically reduced, the product volume has decreased by only 928 kg, from 18,500 tons to 17,577 tons.
The list of top-ten countries, where this year, nuts and other walnuts were sold in the largest quantities, is as follows:
Italy - $ 19.9 million
Germany - $ 17.1 million
Armenia - $ 6.9 million
Spain - $ 4.7 million
Russia - $ 2.9 million
Lithuania - $ 2.9 million
France - $ 2.4 million
Poland - $ 2.3 million
Saudi Arabia - $ 2.1 million
The Czech Republic - $ 2 million
